The academic year at Parents’ Nursery School runs from early September to early June and broadly follows the Cambridge Public Schools calendar.
Our school day runs from 8:30am to 12:30pm, with an optional Extended Day program for a smaller group from 12:30pm to 3pm. To learn more about the structure and activities of a typical day at PNS, please see here.
In June and July, the school offers an optional Summer Program 8:30am-12:30pm for children who attended the preceding academic year, plus an Extended Day option until 3pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays.

Financial Aid
PNS prioritises inclusivity and diversity. Families who feel it might be hard to meet the tuition costs are encouraged to apply for Financial Aid. This involves submitting some financial income and tax information so that the Director & Bookkeeper can make a decision on eligibility for Financial Aid and how much discount to award. All personal and financial details remain strictly confidential. We are happy to share more information about Financial Aid when you come for a tour.
Admission
Admission is open to children who will be at least 2 yrs 9 mths old by Sept 1st of their intake year – if places are available during the academic year, children may be admitted the month that they turn 2 yrs 9 mths.
