Parents’ Nursery School +
Cambridge Preschool Program
Parents’ Nursery School is joining Cambridge Preschool Program (CPP) as a nonprofit provider starting in the Fall of the 2027 - 2028 school year. CPP is a publicly funded program that provides access to free, high-quality preschool for all Cambridge 4-year-olds and prioritized 3-year-olds for the school-day, school-year portion of preschool programs.
Families apply through the Cambridge Preschool Program directly, not through Parents’ Nursery School, though interested families are welcome to schedule a tour directly with us.

The application for the 2027-2028 school year will be open from October 1 - November 13, 2026. Families will be matched to programs in the Winter. Children will start preschool programs in September 2027.
If you recently moved to Cambridge and have an age-eligible child, you can apply for the Cambridge Preschool Program at any time by reaching out to cpp@cpsd.us.

There is a single, centralized application for all programs.
The application will require families to provide information about their child and family, and will provide an opportunity to identify providers in which a family has interest. Families will then be matched with a preschool program based on their eligibility criteria and information provided.

No. CPP is a school-day, school-year program. Families cannot attend part-time or less than 5 days per week. For more information on regular preschool attendance, please review the CPP Attendance Policy.
If you are only interested in attending our morning program, or on select days a week, you are welcome to enroll in Parents’ Nursery School as a regular applicant and pay out of pocket.
